Virginia Christian College
Virginia Christian College (09852)
A postcard with the image of Virginia Christian College. Later called Lynchbug College. Now know as the University of Lynchburg. The image is of old Westover Hall (formally Westover Hotel), now demolished. Photo is surrounded by light green border and about photo are the words "Christian Education - The Hope of the World". Handwriting reads, "Hello Betsy, I'd give my head if you was here today. Haven't been home sick yet. Will write you soon. With love, Clyde". Other side is stamped with date of September 13, 1906, addressed to Miss Bettie Gray, Blue Grass VA. Each time Betty is written, it is spelled differently.
