A black and white undated photograph of the exterior of the Guggenheimer-Milliken Community Center located on Grace Street in Lynchburg, VA. The playground and house were presented to the City in 1913 by Mrs. Bertha Guggenheimer. Guggenheimer-Milliken is the first playground/community center in Lynchburg, VA and second only to Richmond in the establishment of a community center for the public at that time. Two large trees are in front of the columns on the porch. A group of children are on the porch wearing winter coats.
