New Armstrong's New Building (00345)
Armstrong was named in honor of Mr. Samuel Chapman Armstrong, the founder and first principal of the Hampton Institute in Hampton, Virginia. This part of the school was built in 1954 and is located on Monsview Place and Grayson Streets. It has since been converted into a low income housing facility.
