Janet W. Snead School (00363)
The Janet W. Snead School was built in 1911 and is located on Grove Street. Originally named the Miller Park Elementary School, the name was changed in 1953 to honor Miss Janet Snead, a former principal and teacher. Currently, the building is being used as the Miller Center and offices for the Department of Parks and Recreation after extensive renovation in 2014-15.
